Find out more about the music

Music is a big part of Porkstock and we have got a number of superb acts already lined up...

If you thought last years line-up was good, then we are confident you are going to love what we have in store for 2017. During the day we have some great local bands to enjoy whilst you browse local food producers wares, play games with your little piglets, sup on some Norfolk craft beers and taste some extraordinary porky delights. By night, we have two stages of music with a brilliant line-up bands; many listed below.

Tallulah & The Good Times Republic – Holy moly we have Tallulah and her brigade back. Last year we invented the “electro swing gin palace” and it was simply awesome. This year we are giving her a whole abandoned barn to blitz with her electro swing vibes. Her DJ skills and energy are backed up with live trumpets, saxophone and guitars to get you going. She has now amassed over half a million plays of her music and mixes on Soundcloud, and with over 1800 followers, she is undoubtedly the Queen of Electroswing. Her mix, “SwangYoThang2” is one of the most listened to electroswing mixes in the world. Get ready Porkstock!

Georgia Shackleton trio feat Adam Clark – Playing a blend of Americana, folk and self-penned material, Georgia Shackleton is an alumna of Newcastle University’s Folk Degree course. Georgia’s skills as a singer and instrumentalist have been put to the test in numerous different contexts, but her own trio sees her teaming up with guitar powerhouse Aaren Bennett and mandolin ace Nic Zuppardi. Together they have toured the UK, Belgium and the Netherlands, appeared at Rotterdam Bluegrass Festival, Cambridge Folk Festival, Towersey Festival, Broadstairs Folk Week, Folk East, and concert halls and folk clubs across the UK. The Georgia Shackleton Trio will be joined at Porkstock by guest, ‘Adam Clark’, joining forces on the banjo.

The Foreign Locals – This talented three-piece are spearheaded by the one and only PIRATE JOE, one of the most talented and notorious musicians from ’round these parts. Taking the base elements of Gypsy Folk, and colliding it with an upbeat outlook and incredible range. We at Porkstock are honoured to have them.

Get ready to smile, Get ready to dance,
Get ready….. for the Foreign Locals.

Night Train – We are super excited to have Night Train back at Porkstock. They headlined our very first year in the brewery and are back to rock us again. Originally the Boswells Big Band (back in the day) they are a brilliant eight-piece band that are guaranteed to get everyone moving!

The Vagaband – The Vagaband are an 8-piece based in Norfolk. Among the instruments they play are fiddle, mandolin, pedal-steel guitar, clarinet, flugelhorn, banjo, squeezebox and piano. They play original song-based roots music; a soulful mix between Americana, blues, jazz and rock.

Killamonjambo - Killamonjambo are a talented bunch of mischievous musicians ready to bring some high class funk to our Pork proceedings, having experienced International tours, Glasto sets, and more…., Get ready to get sweaty… get ready for the Headliners of Porkstock 2017… KILLAMONJAMBO
